What Is the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025?
Commonly known as Martyn’s Law, this new UK legislation introduces a legal duty for organisations and venue operators to consider the risk of terrorist attacks and take proportionate measures to protect the public.
Named in memory of Martyn Hett, one of the victims of the 2017 Manchester Arena attack, the Act aims to ensure preparedness and public safety across all qualifying venues and events.
